Founded and based in Amman, Jordan in 1981, Al Sharkiyoun has become one of the foremost architecture and interior design practices in the Middle East. It offers some of the finest quality finishing with styles ranging from the traditionally opulent to the sensationally avant-garde. Working as a large team of architects and interior designers, Al Sharkiyoun has established its proficiency in the private and public sectors. Fields of specialization include architecture, interior design and landscaping. Having designed and supervised the execution of over 200 hundred projects over the past 31 years provided the team with the strength of vision to perfect their work. As the scope of the work expanded, so did Al Sharkiyoun. Associate offices in Europe and the United States were established to facilitate connections to many product sources abroad and to supervise the construction of projects abroad. The design of magnificent classical villas around the Middle East is Al Sharkiyoun’s forte. However, to name some of the few outstanding Jordanian governmental ventures which according to the company’s staff were an honour and privilege to do, are the prime minister’s residence, the complete renovation of Basman Palace, the landscaping of Zahran Palace and the King Hussein Convention Center at the Dead Sea.
