This has become imperative due to the fact that upon involvement of our sister company, Agroalala plc in the business of cultivation of Agricultural produce we find that the farmer makes very little from the eventual price of the produce. The middlemen mark up the produce so much that the consumer at the other end pays so much while the farmer at the other end gets very little from what the consumer finally pays. Alalathefarmer.com was set up to address this anomaly. The final consumer should pay a fair and only a fair price for the commodity and the farmers should get a fair and only fair compensation for his effort. This clearly would mean procuring the commodities directly from the farmer and supplying directly to the consumer. This will involve the reduction to the barest minimum the various levels of middlemen. Alalathefarmer.com will take goods directly from the farmers at the farmer gate at a fair price and send the goods to our partners within our Alalathefarmer.com structure who will in turn sell to the final consumer.
