Founded on June 1st 2002, ALATS (Associação Latino Americana de Teste de Software | Latin America Association of Software Test) is a nonprofit organization that was created to bring together professionals from testing and quality systems in order to provide support to ongoing exchange of information aimed at enhancing of testing procedures, keeping their integration as the process of developing applications. Participation in ALATS is open to all professionals and organizations that have interests in the areas of test and / or quality systems. The ALATS aims to disseminate best practices of software testing to allow the evolution of the entire community involved in this work, and therefore, promotes events such as courses, seminars, conferences, working groups, workshops, among others. The idea is to encourage debate that will allow the constant exchange of knowledge between the Latin American community of software testing. Visit our website, with articles and technical papers, to allow access to existing techniques in other countries or other knowledge communities. The ALATS always be open to participation of any professional who wants to donate a portion of their time to work for a community of software testing.
