Alba Silk

Alba Silk is the first organic sericulture unit located in Beni Metir in northwestern Tunisia : The only base in North Africa. A 100% Tunisian know-how, two co-founders, agricultural engineers, trained in France supported by a large local team Our project brings together all the links in the value chain! We have invented a new material called 'artisanal silk lace' which is unique. This new material is designed from natural elements, namely the binders used as well as natural dyes. The 'artisanal silk lace' has a positive carbon footprint since we carry out all the transformation tasks in- situ and we do not use fossil energy during the process. Alba Silk thus offers you a noble material that adapts to all your creations – made to measure!
