Founded in 2021 as an IP investment and advisory company, Alcarum is focussed upon the acquisition and revitalisation of heritage brands in the luxury consumer goods sector. Alcarum’s consolidated portfolio currently includes six brands embodying in excess of years of history, with a further eight in the process of curation. CURATION (NOUN): The action or process of selecting, organizing, and looking after the items in a collection or exhibition. Such actions are typically undertaken using professional knowledge of a specific practice or period. Origin is from the Latin term cura, meaning to care for. Alcarum's ambition is to curate a portfolio of leading heritage brands across geographies and categories; recontextualising evocative brands for introduction to contemporary markets.
