Carolyn Kendall founded her interior design firm, Alcott Interiors, LLC, in 1995. Specializing in high-end residential design, Carolyn custom tailors each home so that the end result speaks beautifully to the architecture, the location and the lifestyle of her clients. Using the classic design principles from her education as a guiding muse, Carolyn gathers inspiration from the past and the present to create stylish rooms that are fresh, welcoming and timeless. Carolyn’s attention to detail and passion for expert craftsmanship have long been Alcott signatures. And her seasoned team of design professionals provides clients with a full service experience from start to finish on each and every project. Carolyn’s love of art and antiques is reflected not only in the homes she designs for her clients but also in the treasures she curates at the Alcott Interiors Shoppe in the Hillsboro Village neighborhood of Nashville. Over the years Carolyn has given her time and talents to a number of local charities and industry events. And when she is not designing, Carolyn is off traveling the world with her husband Scott and daughter Isabella or stopping off for another extended stay in Paris where she can be found wandering through the Flea Markets…hunting for the old and dreaming about the new…
