Alena Museum

Alena Museum is a cultural place-keeping arts nonprofit that exists to preserve and nurture the cultural identity of the African Diaspora in the face of gentrification and displacement. We’re futurists, who draw from the legacy of our ancestors to preserve, design, and resource spaces for Black culture to thrive. We do this by telling the stories of the African Diaspora through public art, media, and digital content and by providing a cultural hub of resources for our local communities. We’re designing a gateway into a new world where all Black people can live, grow, and lead their lives with pride.
