Nestled in the heart of East Vancouver’s newly revamped Port Town community is Aleph, a culinary and ethnic oasis where old meets new, communities blend and everyone is welcome. Stemming from the first letter of a multitude of Middle Eastern languages such as Hebrew, Arabic, Phoenician, Persian and Urdu (to name a few), Aleph is a place of convergence borrowing the best of the regions traditional middle-eastern cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Aleph aims to share this wealth and vibrancy of life and cuisine through its embrace of local, sustainable, and family style dishes featuring a twist of modern flavors that echo the integrity of the rich history from which it is deeply rooted.
