Alerta Design, is an integrated design company based in Milan to provide innovative design solutions for our life. Ever since its foundation, Alerta Design’s guiding principle was to put Man, the final user, at the centre of the architectural process, developing design solutions that are not only esthetically pleasing, but also functional and sustainable. If sustainable development is development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, it is evident that the present situation is not sustainable. To achieve these crucial results, we therefore need not only new ways of planning and designing but above all “new ways of thinking”, learning from the past to design the future with a new Renaissance in mind.
