At ALERTWest, our mission is clear: to deploy a large-scale, interoperable, collaborative, situational awareness platform with AI wildfire detection to help prevent the loss of life, property, and environmental damage. We achieve this by creating a network of cameras and a software solution for use by first responders, emergency management personnel, infrastructure organizations, other organizations, and the public. We collaborate with universities to foster local engagement and program support within their respective states or territories.
