Alex Cochrane Architects are a team of architects and designers with a deep knowledge of cultures both past and present. Exploring architecture and design through studies of space, form, light and materials is core to the practice. Their approach is about invention rather than replication achieving solutions through creative dialogue, painting, drawing and model making. They are acutely aware of the building process with a rigorous attention to detail. Recent projects demonstrate the studio’s ability to work on a range of building types.
