The story of Alexmonhart began in 2017 in Prague. Alexandra Monhart was looking for sleek yet functional backpacks on the market and found none. Surprised by this gap, she started designing them herself. And so Alexmonhart was born. Since then, the brand has come a long way, though excellent quality has always been our priority since day one. Made with Italian leather and hand-crafted in the Czech Republic, our leather goods have earned a cult following on the Czech fashion scene. Recognized by the Forbes 30 under 30, Alexandra embarked on a new business (and life!) venture with Daniel Steklík. What started as a small side project gradually evolved into a renowned fashion brand, nominated for the Czech Grand Design and the Roots for European Design awards. Next to our famed backpacks and versatile bodybags, we’ve also launched a few limited collaborations with our designer friends such as Lucie Koldova or Jiri Krejcirik, and the prominent Czech fashion stylist Mira Romaniv. Growing a devoted community of “AMowners”, Alexmonhart has since collaborated with IQOS or Porsche, cementing its place in the Czech designer scene.
