ALFORDABLE SERVICES LIMITED is a consulting company based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Robert Alford has many years of operations/maintenance/construction/ project management experience on pipeline, oil refinery, forestry products, petrochemical, and other industries throughout Alberta. Most of his career has been spent in planning and controls positions, including maintenance planner and project scheduler. Over the course of his career, he has developed a proven track record. Mr. Alford has been the project scheduler on numerous EPC projects. Some clients and projects include: Husky Lloydminster Heavy Oil Upgrader – Turnarounds, Edmonton City – Light Rail Transit (LRT) and International Airport expansions, University of Alberta (UofA) – new building construction. Enbridge, Spectra Energy, and Inter Pipeline Fund (IPF); numerous pipeline expansions and new equipment. Morrison Hershfield – telecommunications, TTS-Energy – drilling rig manufacture. He was the on-site construction project scheduler for; Suncor - Inclined Plate Separators, and Syncrude - Diluent Recovery Unit #2. Mr. Alford’s Maintenance Planning duties involved planning, scheduling, and tracking the day-to-day maintenance activities with the help of the maintenance foremen and managers. His duties involved the implementation, development, and user training of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for three different industries and sites. He honed his project scheduling skills developing and tracking several oil refinery, and petrochemical plant maintenance turnarounds. He planned weekly maintenance days for a saw-mill and an Oriented Stand Board (OSB) manufacturing plant. Mr. Alford’s Materials Inspection duties involved oil refinery stationary equipment materials verification, inspection, repairs and replacements tracking, and fit for service certification. Mr. Alford was a Process Operator at two Edmonton oil refineries.
