As of February 11, 2005, Aliatel AS was acquired by Gts Czech, A.s. Aliatel a.s. supplies voice, data, and Internet based telecommunication services in the Czech Republic. Data services provided by the group include digital leased circuits, frame relay, ATM cell relay, transparent LAN, and business IP services. Voice services include direct connection services, indirect connection services, and intelligent network services. Internet services include fixed line connection to Internet, connecting customers for local ISP, shared hosting lease of application environment on server, housing lease of space and data centre services, and comprehensive solutions for virtual ISP dial-up. Services for operators and infonet services include voice, telehousing, leasing, and data services. The major customers of the group include corporate clients, such as manufacturers, service providers, banks, state institutions, and media; and telecommunication operators.
