Aliens In Residence

Aliens in Residence (AIR) is an independent publishing studio based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by Dino Kužnik & Arnaud Montagard, both photographers and photo book collectors- The name "Aliens in Residence" refers to the immigration status that the two immigrant photographers held for many years while residing in the United States; one originally from Slovenia, the other from France. They were both living and working in the USA under an artist visa and held the title of "legal aliens," hence the name Aliens in Residence- AIR is dedicated to contemporary photography but open to publishing and exploring other avenues of creativity and art. We want to offer a new approach to the published artist - creating a link between them and the public through beautifully designed books, residencies, and workshops, with the intent of understanding their vision, the motivation behind the work, and igniting inspiration & creativity- hello@aliensinresidence.co
