Dr. Calvillo has been certified by the state of North Carolina as a provider of both chiropractic care and acupuncture since 1995. Dr. Calvillo's advanced training helps him speed the healing process by utilizing muscle, ligament and soft tissue treatments. In addition, an integral part of our treatment is education regarding healthy living, healthy diet, and home exercise programs to rehabilitate injured joints and affected muscles. He began extensive training in the use of Active Release Technique (ART) in 2014 and became full body ART certified in 2017. Dr. Calvillo has a passion for treating athletic injuries of any kind and currently provides care for high level high school and college athletes as well as serious adult athletes involved in CrossFit and martial arts.
