Alive Counselling

Alive Counselling consists of a team of therapists offering quality mental health care to those throughout Kelowna and across British Columbia through In-Person, Walk and Talk Therapy, and Online Counselling. Our newly renovated clinic has 5 offices in the Banks Centre, right off of Highway 97 in Kelowna. We are so proud of our team who placed Top 3 in three categories for Best of Kelowna for Clinical Counsellor, Therapist, and Psychology Group! Our clinic offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Alive Counselling serves a variety of presenting issues, but we want to find the best fit for our clients and clinicians. We mainly work in anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, EMDR, CBT, self-compassion and self-confidence, couples counselling, postpartum depression and maternal mental health care, sports performance, grief & loss, and more. We love to help people get "unstuck" and come more alive in their lives. As a team of therapists, we each offer different specialties and approaches, so it is a diverse team to learn from. We have monthly team meetings for case consultations and offer individual or small group supervision. As a clinical supervisor with Third Space and University of British Columbia, there is leadership potential to be a clinical supervisor of graduate students and to be involved in many community events as part of our mental health charity partnership with Third Space Charity. Barb also offers clinical supervision for continued mentorship and development.
