Alka Financial was established in response to the lack of diversity and inclusion in the financial services industry. Headquartered in New Orleans, LA we specialize in financial consulting for start-up, small and mid-sized companies. We offer strategic value in areas such as: entering into the New Orleans market, BIPOC focused companies, and modern workforce company culture. Our Tax Planning division focuses on establishing year-round relationships with clients. We typically begin marketing in October; identifying clients who want to minimize a tax liability before year-end. We offer various tax-favorable options to minimize tax liabilities or to estimate potential refunds. Louisiana ranks 50th overall in the nation and in the bottom 10% in key areas such as education, economic attainability and fiscal stability. With a median annual salary less than 30k per year and nearly 25% of New Orleans residents living below the poverty line; we felt the need to enact serious change. We aim to solve this problem by creating a total solution to financial literacy, job security and overall quality of life. Our core values are family, community and education. We work directly with various high schools in the GNO area to provide financial literacy, create internships at our firm, and provide support to students through college who show interest in careers in financial services.
