MINDFULNESS – IT’S NOT FOR WIMPS This isn’t how everyone approaches counseling, and don’t be fooled by the gentleness that hangs on the term “mindfulness”. Mindfulness is hard core: it takes you deep, and it’s honest with you. It strips away all the euphemisms and excuses and asks you to be raw with yourself. But, you know… gently raw with yourself. That’s totally a thing. There’s no such thing as “unimportant,” “irrelevant,” or “unrelated” when we’re exploring your inner world. If you are suddenly seized by an overwhelming urge for a pickle sandwich, it’s important. No seriously; I swear it’s connected. I might not know how, but eventually, we’ll get there. Promise.
