Working with a multi-disciplinary approach, we strive to contribute with capital solutions to start-ups, small enterprises, and middle-market companies. We believe the opportunity set is more than extensive in this market bracket, and growth prospects are higher. We are actively looking for early, mid and latestage cycle disruptive business and innovative technologies combined with proven ability to scale, acquire, monetize, and retain clients, and fundamentally generate long-term cash. We are seeking for a growing asset in a protected industry, run by trustworthy and competent managers at a good entry price. We tend to stay away from situations in industries we are not extremely familiar with. We feel comfortable investing in companies that we would be able to run. Selecting the right entrepreneurs and enterprises in this broad array of choices is essential, and this is what this partnership is about. Humility is what keeps us seeking continuous improvement - Allievo is an Italian word for continuous learner. By always pursuing improvement, we proactively seek to protect the downside (we don’t want to risk the franchise), but we cannot have outsized returns without taking on a considerable amount of risk. Allievo Capital was born with a philosophy and a coherent set of principles. Those will hopefully keep us on a constant path over the years.
