Alma De Savegre is A high-quality Organic Costa Rican VANILLA beans producer and exporter. Our Vanilla is sustainable, Organic, zero-waste, carbon offset, and Fair-trade(1). Under-canopy grew in the precious terroir of the Savegre River basin, the cleanest river in Central America! Experts consider it to be the best place for Vanilla in the country. It is a Biosphere natural reserve declared by Unesco(2). It counts with rich biodiversity. It is home to 20% of the country's total flora, 54% of its mammals, 59% of its birds, and nearly people. Over a year-long, every single bean goes through a natural process, absorbing the jungle's vibrant environment. each flower gets pollinated by hand, carefully and gently. After nine months, it becomes a mature green vine ready for harvest. 50% of the final product quality is determined by the next Three months of prolonged fermentation and dehydration until it becomes an Aromatic Vanilla bean! All we do is support this miracle with professional academic methods to watch and give it the best chance to fulfill its Aroma and flavor potential. Finally, it's time to pack it in Bio-plastic vacuum compostable, beautifully designed packages, preserving quality and the environment.
