Almubarak Islamic School
Almubarak Islamic School was founded by its founder Alustadh Mbarouk Shaaban Hajji in the year after being persuaded by one of his teachers Almarhoum Sheikh Abdallah Bin Abubakar Bakathir to start an Islamic academic institution. Almarhoum Sheikh Bakathir also helped a lot in the obtaining of the land that this school is built on which was given to the founder by Almarhoum Maalim Khalil Mahmoud Abdul Rahman on 21stJuly for the purpose of building a mosque and a madrasa. Almubarak started the work of teaching after the completion of the first stage of building the school in the year 2001 and the official inauguration. This institution was opened by the former deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports on behalf of the former first lady of Zanzibar Mama Shadya Karume.
