Alpha-Protein is an innovative AgriTech Start-up based in Germany with an international Team. A production and development location, which is known, for its high feed safety and quality standards. We will disrupt the food and feed industry by establishing the cost efficient and large-scale production of mealworms as a sustainable protein source. Since the world is facing severe and challenging environmental problems, we will be one of the game changers in this situation. Our technology is particularly effective through its high degree of automation and sustainability by using by-products of the food industry as feed for the mealworms. Main products and all by-products of the mealworms will be offered on the market: Mealworms as sustainable food and feed, chitin as an ecological raw material for the industry and frass as nutritious fertilizer. All this makes our Start-up highly sustainable and one of the leaders in this fast-growing industry.
