AlphaSeeds is a unique Swiss-based philanthropic investment company funded through philanthropy to make sustainable investments. We reinvest all our profits into the growth of our investment portfolio. Our purpose is to help build an ethical, regenerative, and profitable agribusiness industry in Africa. We focus on local agro-processing companies. We create well-paid jobs and develop inclusive value chains. We contribute to food security and the improved well-being of smallholder farmers’ communities. We invest seed equity in promising early-stage high-impact SMEs with strong growth and profitability potential. We take a hands-on approach, sometimes a controlling stake, and we share our deep expertise, transferring know-how. Our set-up allows us to take a very long-term investment horizon.
