Alqarara Municipality بلدية القرارة

At first Al-Qarara municipality followed by Khan Yunis municipality, untill established the first village council in 1983 and still the work of the village council, until the coming of the Palestinian National Authority in 1994 and then linked to the local authority in Qarara and all other municipalities with the Ministry of Local Government, which took over the administrative supervision and oversight at the municipality, and in 1997 the council has been transferred to the Municipality category (b) and In late 2005, was the municipality elections in Qarara where form on the impact the municipal council of twelve elected members in addition to the Mayor. في البداية كانت بلدية القرارة تتبع بلدية خان يونس، حتى تأسس أول مجلس قروي فيها عام 1983م واستمر عمل المجلس القروي حتى مجيء السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية عام 1994م وعندها تم ربط الهيئة المحلية بالقرارة وسائر البلديات الأخرى بوزارة الحكم المحلي التي تولت الإشراف الإداري والرقابي على البلدية، وفي عام 1997م تم تحويل المجلس إلى بلدية فئة(ب) وفي أواخر عام 2005 تم إجراء الانتخابات البلدية بالقرارة حيث تشكل على أثرها المجلس البلدي من اثني عشر عضوا منتخبا بالإضافة إلى الرئيس.
