Already Gone

Already Gone is a new classic rock band from Houston, TX, known for being the premier Eagles tribute band in the South. Formed in 2006, these five veteran musicians reproduce the Eagles lush vocal harmonies so accurately that it’s uncanny. They don’t dress like the Eagles, speak like them, or act like them - rather, they give tribute to one of the greatest classic rock acts in history by their painstaking attention to the musical details. Their lead vocalist has the amazing ability to sound incredibly like either Don Henley, Glen Frey, or Joe Walsh, as evidenced by his performances on Hotel California, Lyin’ Eyes, and Rocky Mountain Way, respectively, and the energy and witty banter that they bring to their onstage show is often compared to the Eagles in their heyday. There’s no doubt that the Eagles have influenced the band’s original compositions. Their latest CD, 8-Tracks, shares the same choirboy harmonies, tight instrumentation, and witty lyrics that the Eagles are known for, but other influences, such as the Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and CSN & Y are readily apparent in the listening. Already Gone not only sounds eerily like the Eagles, they deliver their greatest hits with an energy and swagger that recalls the Eagles in their younger days - and without the exorbitant arena cost.
