Alta-ermec Ltd is a switchgear based company, carrying out the safe specialist movement, reconnection and testing of switchgear throughout the UK. We offer various services within this area of work, which are tailored to the specific requirements of a given project- For a full switchgear works package, we would unload all equipment from the transport vehicle, carry out the safe manoeuvring of the equipment into the customers specified final position, reconnection of all interface bolts, busbar links and control wiring with full switchboard testing carried out once completely assembled- A half switchgear works package would involve either the unloading from transport and the safe manoeuvring of the equipment into the customers specified final position or the reconnection of all interface bolts, busbar links and control wiring with full switchboard testing carried out once completely assembled. A full test certificate pack will be completed by our onsite engineers whilst carrying out testing. All site testing will be witnessed by the relevant personnel and our test certificates signed off as required. Our completed test certificate packs will then be processed by our office and sent to our customer for their records - If required, we can provide a suitable hi-ab vehicle c/w a highly trained and fully competent operator with many years of experience, which we can use to collect, deliver and unload equipment if other means cannot be utilised- We have available highly experienced, fully trained and competent engineers who are able to operate hired in plant if project requirements demand it- All our equipment, be it hand tools / lifting / testing equipment, is inspected regularly, calibrated and relevant certification is available if required.
