Founded in 2015 in Downers Grove, our original production brewery and taproom has grown into a three-location family that includes two full-service restaurants—Alter Brewing + Kitchen Oak Brook and Alter Brewing + Kitchen St. Charles—each offering chef-driven food, fresh beer, and an unmistakably welcoming vibe. From small-batch IPAs to barrel-aged sours and limited-edition collaborations, we’re constantly experimenting, evolving, and having fun along the way.
