Alternative Research is a design collective making garments and objects to inspire an active life-style and encourage mindful living. Founded by two former competitive cyclists, the brand’s objective is to create passionate products that are high-performance while also maintaining an ecological consciousness and careful design philosophy. We utilize holistic and sustainable methods, combining contemporary technical design with practiced techniques of natural plant dyeing. Every garment is unique and handmade in Thiotià:ke - Montreal. Responsible production is at the core of our ethos. We seek to invest in our local community and environment through ethical sourcing and high labor standards.
