Alvarado Tax & Business Advisors LLC ("ATBA") was founded in 2002 under the name Zaragoza & Alvarado LLP by Juan Zaragoza Gomez and Juan A. Alvarado Zayas. In November 2014, with the departure of Juan Zaragoza Gomez, due to his appointment as Secretary of Treasury of Puerto Rico, the firm underwent a change of corporate identity and branding and became ATBA. ATBA, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is engaged in providing tax and business advisory services. ATBA is the first truly multidisciplinary tax and business advisory firm in Puerto Rico unencumbered by the constrain of association with auditing firms and the regulatory and disclosure rules of the Security and Exchange Commission.
