Ambra BioScience LLC uses its proprietary Gut Sensory Modulation (GSM) technology platform to develop dietary supplements and medical foods that address significant health and wellness concerns such as maintaining a healthy weight and healthy blood sugar levels. Ambra is focused on the physiologic release of hormones produced by the L-cells in the lower gut. The nutrients in food naturally activate the sweet, bitter and umami taste receptors located on the luminal side of the L-cells causing the release GLP-1, PYY and oxyntomodulin.
