We do this by supporting refugees in their search for solutions by assisting and encouraging organisations to offer high quality free-of-charge legal advice and representation. AMERA International’s current focus is on strengthening knowledge, capacity, and practices among legal aid providers, lawyers, refugee-led and community-based organisations, and NGOs working with refugees. We manage a digital platform, Rights in Exile. This provides a one-stop shop of resources and coordination for legal aid providers and refugees across the world.
