Throughout their 100-year history, American Spaces have supported the foundation of U.S. government’s public diplomacy by creating a place for in-person engagement with foreign audiences. As a global network, American Spaces builds bridges between people of other countries and the United States, increasing understanding, collaboration, and partnership. American Corner Surkhet is one of the American Spaces in Nepal, established on December 12, 2012, in partnership with Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
