The team of engineers and technologists have the latest tools for product prototype design and development. The state-of-the-art facility has full validation capability through extensive testing of the products that are to be manufactured by AMERICAN Valve and Hydrant and the Waterous Company. AMERICAN Innovation is a fully owned subsidiary of AMERICAN Flow Control, the valve and hydrant division of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. AMERICAN Flow Control manufactures the iconic American-Darling and Waterous brands of fire hydrants for municipal and industrial fire protection applications, gate valves, check valves, indicator posts, tapping sleeves, and more.
