Americans Building Community

Americans Building Community is a Community Development Corporation devoted to place-based capacity building at the neighborhood scale. We apply the Asset Based Community Development framework to mobilize resources in support of neighborhood interests. Our current emphasis is addressing opportunities aligned with the City of Vancouver Subarea Plan for the 4th Plain Corridor. Our primary strategy involves integrating community development initiatives generated among citizens and community service organizations to leverage assets that realize economies of scale and align association contributions to maximize return on investment.
