AmeriCare provides non-medical in-home care to people of all ages who need a helping hand. Many clients require just a little assistance, like help with household chores or shopping. Others require more extensive help. Either way, we develop an individualized care plan to meet specific needs. Our clients get all the comforts of home because they are home - where they want to be. The need may come from disability, illness or surgery. It may come from a desire for companionship, a concern regarding the safety of living alone or a desire to have personal care services and supervision available. The services may enable a person to be at home sooner or extend the time they are able to live in their own home. Sometimes the current primary caregiver simply needs time away to meet their own personal responsibilities. Services are available 24 hours; 7 days a week (including holidays) to individuals and couples who require assistance in order to comfortably remain at home. Our personalized screening system of background and driving-record checks are designed to maximize peace of mind. We are licensed by the Sate of North Carolina to provide in-home aide services.
