AMF Risk Management Solutions was established in 1981 by William G. McKelvey, its president and CEO. AMF was originally established as an MGU sister company to Medical Claims Service, Inc.(MCS). AMF successfully managed stop loss reinsurance for MCS since 1982. On January 1, 2003 AMF began underwriting stop loss insurance to selected TPA's brokers / consultants over employer sponsored ASO plans administered by BCBS and other major insurers. AMF has grown in excess of 70% in the past twelve months and has established itself as the premier underwriter of group medical stop loss.
