AMI is a mid-scale mining operation focused on procedure and policy changes to achieve environmentally sensitive and sustainable mineral extraction techniques. Through development, training and introduction of new techniques and machinery, AMI facilitates the transition from rudimentary, artisanal methods of mining into modern, efficient and sustainable extraction techniques. AMI’s production is focused on its ESG responsibilities and is committed to employing a full local labour force from the emerging markets that it conducts its business activities in. AMI offers consultation to other organisations wishing to facilitate their own transition. As part of the company’s mission to minimise environmental impact and eliminate illegal mining activities, the subsidiary ASI, was formed to provide security and ranger services and protect the surrounding natural environment.
