Ampersand Inventions is based in multiple buildings in Gateshead. Ampersand Inventions is a Community Interest Company supporting open conversations, artistic discussions and project development administered and managed by Director’s Jonpaul Kirvan and Peter Marchal with the support of Orbis Community and our diverse and growing membership. Ampersand Inventions’ aim is to create and manage a multi-functional space providing a creative and supportive environment for charities, businesses, SMEs and artists, including experimental and participatory events. Ampersand Inventions provide; project and performance space, lecture rooms, studios, gallery and workshop space for a broad range of creative practitioners (including fine art, craft, and professionals from various creative industries) acting as a conduit for collaboration between these individuals, groups and non-arts professionals and community groups.
