Amsterdam Umc - Adore

Adore is het nieuwe, baanbrekende onderzoekscentrum van Amsterdam UMC. Hier werken onderzoekers uit de disciplines oncologie en neurologie intensief met elkaar samen. Adore staat voor een gedurfde, innovatieve benadering van medisch-wetenschappelijk onderzoek,dat erop gericht is om de meest complexe vraagstukken te ontrafelen rondom kanker en hersenziekten als dementie en multiple sclerose (MS). Ons doel: Eerdere en nauwkeurigere diagnoses en betere en betaalbare behandelingen voor iedereen. Het Research & Diagnostiek Centrum Adore in Amsterdam biedt hiervoor een uniek ecosysteem van state-of-the-art onderzoeksfaciliteiten. Adore wordt mogelijk gemaakt met steun van private partners, de gemeente Amsterdam, het ministerie van Economische Zaken, Kansen voor West en de Europese Unie. Om in de toekomst onze grensverleggende onderzoeksprogramma’s te kunnen blijven uitvoeren, zoekt Adore extra financiële middelen.
