Amtec Medical, based in Austin, Texas, has been serving the medical industry for 35 years. We cover 7 south and southwestern states; Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Colorado, and Louisiana. Amtec specializes in pioneering technologies with new products and devices for the hospital and homecare market. Products that have the potential to change the standard of care in the medical arena. While we are active in most parts of the hospital, currently our focus is on the NICU/PICU and pharmacy markets. These spaces have a lot of opportunities due to the specialization of their needs. In the NICU market, we represent RightBio Metrix whose devices are used to confirm gastric acidity to assist in placing and re-verifying placement of NG/PEG tubes as well as monitoring pH levels in critically ill patients to better enable more precise treatment and dosage of medications. In the PICU we represent nüm a sterile topical anesthetic spray used to numb the skin before a needle procedure. For pharmacy, we carry the catalog of QI Medical testing products, Metrix bags, and RTI Retractable syringes.
