Ana In Style

My name is Ana Teresa Tozzi Jacobs. I am originally from Brazil and have lived in the United States for about 11 years. I grew up in a small town close to Sao Paulo, Brazil. My mom stayed home with me and my three sisters. She used to have a small workshop where she made clothes and sold them to stores in town. Therefore, during my childhood I was surrounded by fabrics and fashion. My Mom used to to make me pretty skirts, dresses, shirts and bows for my hair. I remember looking at fashion magazines when I was young and telling my Mom how to tweak the designs, so they would represent my own personal style. Even though I always had a strong passion for fashion and design, life took me in a different direction. I ended up going to school to become a Civil Engineer and I am now a Home Building Construction Supervisor for a large home builder. During the work week I typically wear black pants, construction boots and a hard hat. Of course I always try and add some feminine fashion touches to my outfits, such as bracelets, scarfs, fun belts and even a pink shirt or two. My coworkers always say I am the "Fancy Supervisor".
