The Anaklia Development Consortium (ADC) is developing the Anaklia Deep Sea Port and the Anaklia Free Industrial Zone in the Black Sea Region to breathe new life into the ancient Asia-Europe trade route. Both developments are granted through an investment agreement provided by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia for the rights to develop, finance, design, construct, operate, market, manage, and grow the Anaklia region. Anaklia - a stronghold site in the Black Sea region, has a natural predisposition for a deep sea port due its strategic advantages and its natural underwater canyon. ADC is developing the Anaklia Port to be a vibrant state-of-the-art, eco-friendly facility with a highly efficient layout and an ability to accept post-panamax size vessels. The Anaklia Port will be a lasting economic driver for Georgia, both as a national asset representing Georgia’s historic significance and its vital role in the evolving global economy.
