Ancestral Foundation

Ancestral Foundation was born as a response to an environmental and social problem in the Colombian high mountains regions. We preserve and restore our water-producing ecosystems. Unique Ecosystems called "Páramos". We work with high mountain communities creating solutions and opportunities that harmonize the economic development of our farmers with the conservation of our natural resources. We believe in a green, prosperous and sustainable Colombia that takes advantage of the great capacities and wealth of our biodiversity and allows the development of new, solid and profitable economies that coexist in harmony with the environment.
