Anchor Ceramics

We work on clay time. Far from industrial or automated processes, yet often employing current technologies and techniques, works take considerable time to make by hand. The objects progress through careful making stages with long drying times, material phase changes and multiple firings. No single part of the process can be skipped or harried. Forms are created using thrown, constructed and extruded ceramic processes. The specific nature of clay's texture, colour and grain are celebrated in the design and never concealed.
