Anchor Consultants, LLC. provides engineering services related to the feasibility study; planning;permitting; underwater inspection; dredging; detailed design; bid support; construction management; claims and litigation support of Port and Urban Waterfront Facilities. Anchor also provides detailed design engineering services for other non-waterfront (land side) industrial and Urban facilities including industrial building structural design, piping mechanical & hydraulic design, tank dike design, deep and shallow foundation design for residential/commercial & Industrial structures. In association with our business partners, Anchor also provides Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrographic survey (soundings), Side scan sonar, land survey engineering services. Industrial Waterfront Facilities include: 1. Bulk Liquid Facilities Refineries & Terminals handle Chemical & Petrochemical Products. Bulk Solid Facilities Material Handling Facilities to handle solid commodities like coal, salt, gypsum, etc. Break Bulk Facilities Cocoa beans, steel, paper, etc. Container Terminals Handle containerized cargoes. Military Facilities Handle Navy Ships. An Industrial Waterfront Facility typically consists of a Dock to handle Vessels (ships and/or barges) and other landside features, depending upon what type of facility it is. For example, Bulk and Break Bulk Solid facilities may consist of warehouses, conveyors, truck and rail loadouts, etc; Bulk Liquid facilities may consist of piping, storage tanks, truck and rail loadouts, etc. Container Terminals consist of container cranes, container storage yard, reefer racks, etc. Military Facilities may include Layberths for military ships.
