Andersenschool

Thinking, creating, and connecting at the Andersenschool. These actions are at the core of what we do at the Andersenschool, from our informal interactions to our teaching and learning. Thinking and reflection are modeled by adults and promoted in all endeavors, both academic and social, as children build the critical foundational skills for the lifetime pursuit of learning. Creating, which requires the all-important application of skills, ensures that learning is internalized, solidified, and meaningful to the individual. Finally, connecting with each other respectfully, honestly, and openly is at the heart of our warm community.
