Established in 2004, our company proudly carries the name of Ankara, the historical capital of Turkey, known as Angora in the past. Our journey began with a vision for excellence, and since our inception, we have forged a path of growth and innovation. In 2005, Ömer Örtel joined us, as a co-owner of Angora Shipping. In 2019, Mehmet Alioğlu became a partner and took on the role of Managing Partner. Erhan Okatan joined the team in 2016, and Cansel Ermiş further strengthened the team in 2022. At Angora Shipping, we boast a remarkable expansion of our fleet over the years. Initially operating eight multi-purpose vessels, we now own and manage five vessels: MV Anka Blue, M/V Anka Sun, M/V Anka Sky, M/V Anka Star, and M/V Bmo River. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond borders, as we have successfully ventured into international waters. Specializing in brokering and ship management, we offer comprehensive services through major river lines, Adriatic & continent lines, and Libya lines.
