Anna Cherednikova Studio

Anna's artistic practice is focused on the visual interpretation of the concepts of resistance, adaptation, movement and transformation that can be found in nature. Through experiments with photography, sculpture and installations she explores the relations between human and nature. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Anna also studied at Kungl. Konsthögskolan i Stockholm. She often works in artistic residencies, the most recent one - in France: at ENSP in Arles (W2017/2018), Boulogne-Billancourt in Paris (2019), in the Netherlands ARE Holland in Enschede (2018), in 2020 at the Royal Botanical Garden in Madrid. In 2021 she is one of the three selected artists at Long stay artist in residence program at Paradise AIR in Matsudo, Japan. She has been granted a special permit for her stay in Japan between september and december 2021. Anna’s works have been exhibited at international galleries and museums including Centro cultural Conde Duque, C Arte C in Madrid, Centro cultural Eugenio de Almeida in Portugal, Centre Photographique l’Hotel Fontfreyde in Clermont-Ferrand and 104 Paris in France, as well as Culture House Laikku in Tampere in Finland and Vårsalongen at Liljevalchs Konsthall among other venues.
