Anne's recent body of work, Crystal Auras, features an alluring amalgam of terrestrial and otherworldly qualities. Her mixed media paintings are created with countless layers of potent earth-tones that permeate her sculpted surfaces. A primordial energy exudes from within the core of each painting, and the work feels as if it were spawned from a prehistoric cave wall, a segment or stratum of a familiar or distant terrain, or the glistening interior of a geode.
